Would You Eat This Smoked Sausage and Cabbage Skillet 🥬😋

Ingredients:

1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped

14 oz (400 g) smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced

1 medium onion, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp olive oil or butter

1 cup chicken broth

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

1. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

2. Add the sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned on both sides. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until soft and translucent.

4. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and toss well. Cook for about 5 minutes until it starts to soften.

6. Pour in the chicken broth, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

7. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.

8. Return the browned sausage to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

9. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
