Directions:
- Make the dough:
In a large bowl, mix 2 cups flour with sugar, yeast, and salt. Warm butter, milk, and water to about 110°F in a small saucepan. Combine with the flour mixture, then stir in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add remaining flour until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. - First rise:
