This recipe is a simple and comforting dish perfect for a busy weeknight. The slow cooker does all the work, leaving you with a delicious and hearty meal with minimal effort.

Marinara sauce | 1 jar (24 oz) |

Parmesan cheese, shredded | 1 cup |
Heavy cream | 1 cup |
Garlic powder | 1 teaspoon |
Onion powder | 1 teaspoon |
Salt | To taste |
Pepper | To taste |
Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional) | For garnish |

Cook the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or Italian sausage until browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

Combine ingredients: In your slow cooker, add the cooked meat, marinara sauce, and diced tomatoes. Stir to combine.
