Instant Pot Spaghetti and Meatballs

Olive oil 1 tbsp
Onion, chopped ½
Ground beef 1 lb
Garlic powder 2 tsp
Salt and pepper To taste
Minced garlic 3 tsp
Italian seasoning 1 tbsp
Pasta sauce 1 jar
Water 3 cups
Spaghetti pasta 1 lb
Diced tomatoes 1 can
Instructions:
Saute and Prepare Meat Mixture
Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the Instant Pot and turn to saute.
Saute ½ chopped onion until softened.
Stir in 1 lb of ground beef, 2 tsp garlic powder, 3 tsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
Saute until the meat is cooked through, drain excess fat, and set aside.
Prepare the Instant Pot for Noodles
Turn off the saute function and pour half of the 3 cups of water into the Instant Pot.
Layering and Cooking
Break 1 lb of spaghetti noodles in half and layer them in an “x” pattern in the Instant Pot.
Cover the noodles completely with 1 jar of pasta sauce, 1 can of diced tomatoes, and the remaining water, ensuring the noodles are fully submerged.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, set it to sealing, and cook on manual high for 5 minutes.
Final Touch
Allow a natural release for 5 minutes once finished, then carefully push the valve to the venting position to release the remaining pressure.
Once able to, open the lid, return the meat mixture to the Instant Pot, and stir everything well before serving.
