Patty Melt Recipe
Ingredients:

| Ground Beef | 2 pounds | 
| Worcestershire Sauce | 2 tablespoons | 
| Garlic Powder | ½ teaspoon | 
| Butter | ½ cup (divided) | 
| Onion | 1 extra-large sweet onion, peeled and sliced thin | 
| Sandwich Bread | 12 slices (thick-cut, Texas toast) | 
| American Cheese | 6 slices | 
| Swiss Cheese | 6 slices | 
| Yellow Mustard | 2 tablespoons | 
| Salt & Pepper | To taste | 
Instructions:

Caramelize Onions:
- Heat 4 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
 - Add the sliced onions and season generously with salt and pepper.
 - Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes until the onions are softened and caramelized.
 - Remove from heat.

Prepare Meat:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
 - Mix well and then divide into six equal portions.
 - Shape each portion into a flat oval slightly larger than the bread slices.

Cook Patties:
- Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat.
 - Cook the patties for 3 minutes per side.
 
 - 
Assemble & Melt:
- Top each cooked patty with caramelized onions, one slice of American cheese, and one slice of Swiss cheese.
 - Place each patty on a slice of bread spread with mustard.
 - Wipe the griddle clean.
 - Melt 2 tablespoons of butter on the griddle.
 - Place the assembled patty melts on the griddle, top with the remaining bread slices.
 - Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
 
 - 
Serve:
- Cut each patty melt in half and serve immediately.
