Garbage Bread

Ingredients:

1 package (16 oz) pizza dough

Ingredient shopping list

1/2 lb cooked sausage, crumbled

1/2 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped

1/4 cup red onion, chopped

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella  cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle.

Layer the fillings: Spread the crumbled sausage, pepperoni, chopped bell peppers, red onion, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Roll up the dough tightly like a jelly roll, starting from one long edge. Pinch the edges to seal.

Place the rolled dough seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden crust.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Brush with melted butter immediately after baking for extra flavor.

Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
