Crockpot Mississippi Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet ranch dressing mix
1 packet au jus  gravy mix
½ cup unsalted  butter
5-6 pepperoncini peppers
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:

Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
Place the butter on top of the chicken and seasoning.


Add the pepperoncini peppers on top and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the flavorful sauce before serving.
Serving Suggestions:

Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or on toasted sandwich buns.
