🥘 Ration-Era Bean Bake
Ingredients:
• 3 cans (15 oz each) pork & beans or baked beans, undrained
• ½ cup ketchup
• ¼ cup packed brown sugar
• 2 tbsp yellow mustard
• 4 slices bacon or salt pork, choppedSugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, stir together beans, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard until well combined.
Pour into baking dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle chopped bacon over the top.
Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, until bubbly and bacon is browned.
Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
