This Wisconsin Fairy Food (also known in the “Muggle” world as Sponge Candy or Honeycomb) is a light, airy treat that melts the moment it touches your tongue. Sweet, delicate, and delightfully magical, it’s a whimsical dessert that feels like a bite of pure enchantment.

Ingredients

Dry Base

  • 1 cup flour (or almond flour)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • A pinch of salt (or glittery sugar for extra magic)

Wet Magic

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Rainbow sprinkles, for garnish

Instructions

1. Prep the Oven

  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper so the treats don’t stick.

2. Mix the Dry Ingredients

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt until light and lump-free.

3. Add the Eggs
