How to Make Farmer’s-Style Casserole
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
When you’re ready to cook, heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: Assemble the Layers
Spread 6 cups of frozen shredded hash browns into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with 2 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese, 2 cups diced ham, and 1/2 cup chopped green onions.
Step 3: Mix the Custard
Whisk together the 8 eggs, both cans of evaporated milk, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Pour this evenly over the layered ingredients.
Step 4: Bake
