CREAMY CHICKEN MOZZARELLA PASTA

Creamy Chicken Mozzarella Pasta is a delicious Italian-inspired dish featuring tender chicken, gooey mozzarella, and perfectly cooked pasta. Its rich, velvety sauce makes it a crowd-pleaser, ideal for family dinners or special occasions.

🍽️ Ingredients

  • Penne pasta (or your favorite pasta) – 12 oz (340 g)
  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 1 lb (450 g), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese – 2 cups (200 g)
  • Heavy cream – 1 cup (240 ml)
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced – 2 cloves
  • Dried basil – 1 tsp
  • Dried oregano – 1 tsp
  • Red pepper flakes (optional) – ½ tsp
  • Salt and pepper – to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped – for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Chicken: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Cook until golden and fully cooked.
  3. Make the Creamy Sauce: Lower heat, add heavy cream, and stir with chicken for 2 minutes. Gradually mix in mozzarella until melted and thickened.
    1. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss the cooked pasta with the creamy chicken mixture until well-coated.
    2. Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley.
