Lemon Pepper Chicken Pasta Recipe

This Lemon Pepper Chicken Pasta is a quick and easy weeknight meal that’s packed with flavor. The creamy lemon sauce complements the tender chicken perfectly, making it a delicious and satisfying dish.

Ingredients:

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2
Lemon pepper seasoning 2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Garlic, minced 3 cloves
Chicken broth 1 cup
Heavy cream 1 cup
Lemon zest and juice 1 lemon
Parmesan cheese, grated 1/2 cup
Pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne) 12 oz
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) 2 tbsp
Lemon slices (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Season the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with lemon pepper seasoning and salt.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and stir in lemon zest and juice. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Stir grated Parmesan cheese into the sauce until melted. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  5. Serve: Slice the rested chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices, if desired. Serve immediately.
